Nike Dunk High Premium SB (Mork & Mindy) The Dunk High Premium Mork & Mindy Edition is a tribute to the 70's and 80's hit TV comedy series Mork and Mindy. Mork and Mindy was a sci-fi-based American sitcom broadcast from 1978 until 1982 on ABC. The series starred Robin Williams as Mork, an alien who came to Earth in a giant egg from the planet Ork, and Pam Dawber as Mindy McConnell, his human comedic foil. Oddly enough, the series was a spinoff of the sitcom Happy Days. The character of Mork appeared in an episode of Happy Days titled "My Favorite Orkan." where he threatened to take Richie Cunningham back to Ork as an example of a human, but his plan is foiled by Fonzie. The character proved to be popular enough with the audience to rate a starring role in a series. This special edition Dunk is patterned on Mork's spacesuit in the series. It's also interesting to note that Robin Williams is rumored to be an avid shoe collector and he can usually be seen on screen wearing a pair of sneakers with any outfit.. 2006 Release.
